• Global responsibility for a category of mechanical drawing parts (e.g., metal parts)
• Conducting market analyses, benchmarking and global sourcing activities
• Independently obtaining and analyzing quotations, negotiating and drafting contracts
• Internal cost calculations in close collaboration with different departments (e.g., R&D, Sales)
• Process and cost optimization as well as monitoring with suppliers, implementing efficiency improvement measures and cost down activities
• Selection, evaluation and development of the global supplier base
• Resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders

Completed technical education (University, Technical College)
