• Developing a new approach to category strategy in the current market environment.
• Supplier relations, which includes daily communication and building a long-term relationship strategy
• Monitoring trends in supplier markets, developing opportunities and risks - Developing strategic goals, target supplier portfolio
• Monitoring purchasing processes
• Communication with fellow departments, coordinating given tasks
• Cost optimization for ongoing projects, developing price reductions in the given commodity area and measuring results using existing tools and reporting them
• Regular traveling is necessary mainly in EU

Higher education (not necessarily in electronics)

• German language skill is an advantage
• Experience gained in purchasing
• Electronics background is a strong advantage
