Group Leader Global Strategic Purchasing

Lead and develop a team within Global Strategic Purchasing and ensure a high-performance and stable working environment
Build and strengthen long-term supplier relationships together with your team
Monitor supplier markets, identify trends, risks and opportunities and derive strategic actions
Develop and implement global purchasing strategies and target supplier portfolios
Ensure transparency and discipline in purchasing processes and reporting
Coordinate cross-functional activities with other departments
Drive cost optimisation initiatives and ensure measurable and sustainable results
Set clear priorities and ensure focus within the team in a dynamic environment
Regular travel mainly within Europe

University degree

Experience in purchasing, sales or account management (minimum 5 years), ideally in the electronics or automotive industry
Leadership experience or strong potential to take over leadership responsibility
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented way
High level of proactivity and ownership
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
Confident use of MS Office and SAP
